CINCINNATI – Rick Steves, host of the popular PBS travel series, Rick Steves’ Europe, will hold a special presentation at Music Hall on Friday, December 5. CET is offering a limited number of tickets for the presentation and a meet and greet session.


Steves’ presentation, “Travel As a Political Act,” will be held in the Music Hall Ballroom and begins at 7 p.m. The travel guru will offer travel tips, advice and share experiences from his travels across Europe. Steves is also expected to speak about his recent trip to Iran.

CINCINNATI – The Ohio Historic Preservation Office honored Sacred Spaces of Greater Cincinnati, a documentary produced by Voyageur Media Group, Inc. in collaboration with CET, with its esteemed Public Education and Awareness Award on November 1 during a recognition ceremony in Columbus.

Opportunity to Grow Programming, Educational Services; ThinkTV President David Fogarty Appointed President of New Entity


DAYTON, OH – October 31, 2008 – The Boards of Trustees of ThinkTV (Greater Dayton Public Television) and CET (Greater Cincinnati Public Television) announced today that the organizations will merge to form a new regional public television and media corporation. David Fogarty, the current president of ThinkTV, will be named President of the combined organization.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - WCET/Channel 48, the first-licensed public television station in the country, unveiled its new identity, created pro-bono by LPK (Libby Perszyk Kathman), the Cincinnati based brand identity firm.

The new identity (CET) mirrors WCET's shift to an organization focused on the education and enlightenment of the Greater Cincinnati community.
